The two alternate downloads, and future 1.0.5

The version history is getting a bit muddy, so I'm just writing this devlog to clarify.

I recently migrated DDG2 from GameMaker Studio 1.4 to GMS 2.2. The two versions are radically different technology-wise. Studio 1.4 has been unsupported for years and I had to make this move eventually, and GMS2 is important for the (now in-progress!) Ubuntu port. So far so good. There's now two versions of the game: 1.0.4-DX9 is the original, older GMS1 version; 1.0.4-DX11 is the newly ported GMS2 version.

Originally my plan was to just silently replace the DX9 version with the DX11 version since it's objectively better (in theory), but I recently discovered that there's a number of visual glitches exclusive to the DX11 version due to things working in slightly different ways. I've re-enabled the old deprecated DX9 version download since it seems more stable, even if it has worse performance.

From what I can tell it's all purely visual bugs, nothing with gameplay changes, so there's no need to update your game version if everything seems to work fine. But if you haven't downloaded the game yet, chances are you'll enjoy the stable DX9 version more.

Savefiles should be compatible between the two versions of the game, but will be located in different folders and needs to be manually copied if you decide to switch versions. The savefiles are named ddg_saveX.yal where X is the number of the save slot.

I'm going to start working on a 1.0.5 update which fixes all these issues (and also is available both for Windows and Linux systems!) but for now I've re-enabled the old DX9 version download since it's more stable.
