Version 1.01: Last-second fixes before the deadline


Had enough time to fix the most glaring flaws with the original upload before the deadline, so enjoy a slightly less broken version of the game! :D

  • Boss now has louder music and proper boss healthbar so you can tell you're in a boss fight
  • Boss now resists explosive damage so you can't kill him in three hits with the Heavy Annihilator
  • Plasmagun and Heavy Annihilator ammo cost per shot increased
  • Explosions now has a dithered pixel texture to get away from issues where they COMPLETELY cover up enemy sprites because of transparency being broken in 3D
  • Most enemies now have multiple possible item drops and will drop coins sometimes instead of ammo (so you can get a trickle of health/morale back more consistently and have to ration out your shotgun ammo a bit more responsibly), for instance turtle footsoldiers now have a 50% chance to drop a box of bullets, a 25% chance to drop 1 coin and a 25% chance to drop 3 coins. Item boxes / world pickups are unchanged (and always has set loot)
  • Fixed overlapping terrain on castle roof in boss level causing ugly flickering issues
