Hyper Overlap 2: Turbo Edition

In the future year of 199X, the world was finally united in 7 grand cartridges. But one day, the [Glitch Wizard] decided to take it one step further! Play every game at once (not in a good way!) as you fight against the glitches and corruption.

My entry for the [NES Jam 2025] and the [Viral Glitch Jam] is an arcade game where you're given one screen of a classic game from the 8-bit days and have to think fast to get through it with your pixels intact. Can you reach the end and have an epic final showdown with the [Glitch Wizard] or will you fall victim to the [Corruption]?

• No procedural generation, it's the same every time! Learn from your mistakes, or die trying!
• Period-appropriate graphics, music, controls and difficulty!
• It keeps track of the high score!

Notes:

• The game's internal resolution is 256x224, but it's upscaled to twice that so it doesn't become completely unplayable in windowed mode on a modern screen.
• There is no Hyper Overlap 1, nor a non-turbo edition.
