A little helper app I made for personal use, but if you're learning music you might find it helpful too!

Pick a scale, key and type of progression, and you'll get a list of keys making up the chords of that progression, in the selected scale, in the selected key. If you're like me and can't remember what keys go into a G Major chord, you've got the solution right here!

The source code is included, if you want to learn how this kind of thing works under the hood (or just get a free basic button system for your Game Maker game)

Disclaimer: I'm still pretty bad at music theory and I'm using basic one-size-fits-all maths to generate the chord data, so I don't guarantee everything the program spits out is correct! Being aware about stuff like tritones and harmonic intervals and correcting your pianorolls if the output looks weird might be necessary.

Nice THANKS

Released version 2. Just a small update that adds three new chord progressions, one of which just displays the different chords in the scale in order (useful if you wanna figure out which notes are OK to use in argipeggios/melody segments)
