Version 1.02: NPC Faces, Don't Get Dunked On
Epsilon Engraving Engine » Devlog
Version 1.02 is a small update that mostly does some small polish fixes and includes some feedback I got into the base project.
- Regular NPCs got an argument for face sprite which is passed on to the dialogue events they create when you talk to them, this change is just 3 lines of code. (Check out this discussion in the comments for the details)
- Everyone you can talk to in the light world has faces now.
- Fixed DunkBeetle's "bouncer" attack doing more damage than intended (making Levi's challenge in Penumbra Ruins super difficult)
- Added unique icon for the EpsilonFile.
- The "glow" effect prefab (used for faraway view of Light City) is now packed in the project file, so you shouldn't need to manually include it when you import the project anymore. (This might break compatibility if you're trying to import the files from an old version of Game Maker from before that effect was turned into a prefab - let me know if there's any issues)

Just a magical thing of beauty here. Hoping I can find the time to use this to tell a crazy story soon! Keep up the amazing work!
Thanks, will try! ^_^
I might not add a lot more features to this engine specifically though... the more complicated it gets, the harder it gets to use... :P
